Little Chef

Kyler has become quite the little chef... he has really been enjoying "helping" in the kitchen. He wants to sit on the counter and watch me every time I go in the kitchen. He especially likes cracking eggs and taste testing.

Hiking

Ben, Bob, Marsha and I took the kids on a couple of little hikes. They had fun playing outside and seeing the waterfalls. Bradley did great and Meggie didn't make a sound riding in the carrier that Abby let us borrow. Kyler had fun but he got tired and had to be carried part of the way.

Halloween

For Halloween this year we got Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell all dressed up and did a little trick-or-treating. We started in Anderson at Granny's house and then we went to Seneca and saw Gigi and Papa. Then we went to the Fall Festival downtown and then finished up visiting with Mamaw, Poppie, Gr-ma Mel, Gr-pa Roland, Martin, and Denise. The kids spent the night with Mamaw and Poppie while Ben and I went to hang out with some friends.

We raided the kids dress up box and found Ben a cape, hat, and some vampire teeth... he was thrilled to get to dress up. I borrowed a bee costume from Karah and we were ready to go! (There is something wrong with adults who like to dress up!)

We did have fun night at Paige's party hanging out with friends and being "kid free." This is me with my friends Paige, Ally, and Alicia.

Leggings

I found these leg warmers at the store and had to get them for Meggie... isn't she so sweet?

Zoo/Park

We got up and today was such a nice day we decided to spend it outside. We loaded up the kids and their bikes and went over to the Zoo. After walking around the Zoo and checking out all the animals the kids got their bikes out and they rode all over Cleveland Park. They had a great time playing and getting some fresh air.

Kyler though it would be fun to drive through a puddle, but he got stuck and flipped over... he was not happy about that.

I had to run in Target for a pack of diapers so Ben decided to stay in the car with the kids. The boys found this sign in a drawer in the car and Ben and Bradley thought that Kyler holding it up was the funniest thing ever. (Kyler is naked because he fell in the puddle and had no dry clothes to put on, but refused to keep the wet ones on.)

Carving Pumpkins

We got some carve-able, fake pumpkins this year and each of the boys picked out a face and Ben and I helped them carve their pumpkin.
