Kiddie Pool

The boys and I got a kiddie pool today and we took it over to Gigi and Papa's. We got it filled up and the kids had a great time playing in the water... it's amazing how many games 3 boys can make up to play in a foot of water.

Meggie wasn't crazy about the cold water, but she enjoyed playing in the water that got splashed out around the pool.

Playing in the water wore Meggie out... and watching them wore Papa out!

Kyler and Bradley were pretty worn out after a day of playing outside. They enjoyed relaxing in Gigi's new recliner... where they both love to sit.

Shine

We had a community service project at church and the boys and I had fun helping out at a local nursing home. The boys really enjoyed playing games with some of the residents.

Picking Strawberries

The boys wanted to do some strawberry picking, and even though no one at our house eats them (Ben does but he is out of town) we decided to pick some to give away to all of our cousins that love them.

I thought Kyler would be just grabbing all the ones he could, but he did a good job of looking for the good ones and picking them. He did point to each one and ask me "Can we buy this one Mama?"

Bradley did a good job of picking the good strawberries too.

Meggie just got to watch us pick.

She did act interested in trying one, but she'll have to wait a couple more months.

I left the boys on the couch watching something on tv and when I came back this is what I found... how could anyone sleep like that?

Mother's Day Flowers

This year for Mother's Day the kids and I went to church where we had Meggie's baby dedication. The boys went to "big church" with me and Meggie and stood up on stage with us during the ceremony. Kyler did try to start a little wreasling game toward the end, but it went pretty well. After church we had a fun time eating lunch with my Mama and Gr-ma at Burger King... then home for some outdoor fun. Ben was out of town, but he sent me some beautiful flowers!

Jessica's Graduation

After many long years of hard work Jessica is graduating from Lander University. We are so proud of all of her hard work and determination. We know she is excited to be finished and to move on to the next stage in her life. There was a nice ceremony followed by a fun party at her parent's home (to which I forgot to bring my camera)!
