Meggie took a few spills in the water, but she kept going back for more.

Caleb and Kyler had a lot of fun playing in the sand. Caleb wanted to bury Kyler and I was amazed that Kyler just sat in the sand and let him do it as long as he wanted to.

While we were eating Meggie decided to reach over to Jeb's plate and take half of his cake... she had her own piece, but apparently it wasn't enough! Thankfully, Jeb is so sweet he just laughed.

Abby and Jonas got an awesome new camper and they invited Bradley to spend the night with them... he had a lot of fun and now he wants us to buy a camper too.

Sarah Hope

Sarah Hope ~ She was absolutely beautiful and so sweet. We enjoyed getting to see her and remembering how small babies are (ours is just a chunk now)! Meggie had fun looking at her, but she tried to be a little too rough so we had to keep watch.

Bradley thought she was just wonderful... he just loves all babies and he is so sweet with them.

Boats and Crabs

We finally made it over to see Bob's sailboat. The kids had fun exploring it and hanging out on the pier. Jonas got the kids the stuff they needed to do some crabbing and then showed them how. They thought that was the most wonderful part of the trip. I think they would have spend all day out there pulling up crab. They were actually pretty good at it and they caught quite a few. We even got to boil some and taste them before we left.

Luckily we had "Jonas the Bonus" with us and he was able to use a net and lasso the shoe before it was swept out to sea! Unfortunately, I was so distraught over the shoe I didn't think to get any pictures of this miraculous event!

Charleston - Beach

While we were visiting our newest niece we spent some time at the beach. The kids had a great time playing and the weather was wonderful. This was Meggie's first trip to the beach and she loved it. She had a great time playing with the sand, water, and even the seaweed. This was the first time Kyler had been to the beach since before he turned 2 so I'm not sure how much he remembered, but he had a great time playing in the water and building sand castles. These pictures are from our second day at the beach... I forgot my camera the first day, but Abby got some great pictures that day that you can look at here.
